Wine spiked granita is the perfect surprise for your next dinner party. Sweet and citrusy granita is laced with Girls’ Night Out Pineapple Mango Tango and served with sweet and creamy whipped cream. 2½ cups Girls’ Night Out Pineapple Mango Tango
¼ cup pineapple juice
⅓ cup water
½ cup granulated sugar
whipped cream, for serving
In a medium saucepan over high heat combine Girls’ Night Out Pineapple Mango Tango, pineapple juice and water, bring to a boil. Stir in the sugar and whisk until dissolved, about 2 minutes.
Pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and cover with plastic wrap.
Transfer to the freezer. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes for 3 hours, making sure to scrape down the sides of the dish, until the granita is slushy and frozen.
Scoop into chilled glasses and top with a dollop of whipped cream.
